Welcome to Snyman Timber Craft, a family with calling and craft Snyman Timber Craft is more than a woodworking business. It is a story of faith, perseverance, family and two people who decided to keep building, even when life became difficult. We are Barend and Liz Snyman, a husband-and-wife team living in Cape Town, South Africa, with our four children. Our home becomes our workshop during the day, and between work, family responsibilities and everything else life brings, we build our craft in the spaces available to us. What began as woodworking gradually became something more meaningful. We began to see craftsmanship not simply as making products, but as stewarding creativity and skill with care. Our pieces are made to be used, enjoyed and remembered — from a rolling pin used to make bread with children, to a cutting board around which a family gathers, or a handmade gift given to someone special. Our purpose is to create beautiful, useful pieces that become part of people's lives — pieces that can help shape time, memory and connection. “...and establish Thou the work of our hands.” Psalm 90:17
